A number of popular cars have the 5×100 bolt pattern including VWs and Audis, the Toyota 86, Subarus and more.
Despite this, 5×100 wheels are not as common as some other bolt patterns like 5×114.3, and it can be hard to find wheels that fit and look good. To add to that, many cars featuring the 5×100 stud pattern have relatively high offsets from factory, which makes finding deep dish wheels even harder.

Some Things to Consider When Selecting Rims
Before you buy your new set of wheels, it’s important to know a few things. We already know the stud pattern we are looking for, but there are a couple of other specs you need to get right as well.
Diameter
The diameter of the wheels is not only important for aesthetic reasons but also for fitment, the selection of tyres as well as ride comfort.
Bigger diameter wheels will generally require tyres with thinner sidewalls, and these to be more expensive and will result in a harsher ride.
Keep this in mind when choosing the diameter of your wheels and check to see which tyre sizes are available and at what cost.
Width
Width is another extremely important aspect of the wheels and will dictate how the wheels fit as well as the tyre size.
As you are going for deep dish wheels, you’ll probably looking at wider wheels, generally 8” at the minimum.
Make sure you are going to be able to fit the width you are looking for, and check to see if there are tyres that are going to suit. If you go too wide, you may need to run stretched tyres in order to get them to fit under the fenders.
Offset
The offset of the wheels is going to pay a significant role into how they sit and how deep they are. If you want the deep dish look, you will want to get as low of an offset as possible.
At the same time, you need to make sure that the wheels will actually fit on the car, so selecting the right offset is key here and millimeters will make a big difference.

Centerbore Size
The centerbore size is the size of the hole in the center of the wheel:
You need to make sure that you get wheels that have a centerbore that is the same or larger than what your car has.
Most aftermarket wheels have centerbores that are larger than most cars so that this is not a problem, but it pays to check.
Also remember that you will need to get hubcentric rings to fill in the space between the centerbore and your wheel hubs. You’ll be able to get these from the same place you buy the wheels.
