How to Change Engine Oil & Filter On a Car
In this video I will show you how to do a basic engine oil and filter change. In the video I do it on my Nissan 300ZX Z32, but this same process applies to any car.
Parts you need:
- Correct engine oil for your car
- Correct oil filter for your car
Tools you need:
- Jack and stands or ramps to lift the car
- Ratchet set or spanner that is the right size for your oil sump plug
- Oil filter removal tool (unless you know FOR SURE that you can get it off without)
- Oil pan to catch the old oil
- Lots of rags
- Something to put under the car to stop oil getting on the driveway (optional if you want to keep your driveway clean)
